The Lab
HaMa'abada
A daily radio show and podcast format I developed and led for Kan, the Israeli Public Broadcast Corporation. The Lab is an educational show that communicates academic research to the public.
500 episods | Over 100 guests | 40 academic fields | Over 80K downloads a month
Each week I met with researchers from all over the Israeli academic world and talked to them about their work.
The Lab: Radio-Television-Digital
As a reliable presenter of academic research, I was called in to television shows on Kan 11 to talk about the topics explored on my show.
Additionally, I summarized select series from the show and presented them as short videos that conveyed the research’s bottom line.
The Lab for Kids
Kids are curious in a different way than adults; they ask fundamental questions about things we might take for granted as we get older.
I collected more than 100 questions from kids about planet Earth: weather, habitats, flora, fauna, the earth’s core, the origins of life, celestial objects, and the way these all come together to create Earth’s amazing ecosystem. I then found the scientists who could answer the queries most accurately.
The format was presented as a chain, with each answer leading to the next question, emphasizing the fact that everything on earth is connected,
and nothing is superfluous.
